MISSION STATEMENT
When an athlete is injured during a practice or in a game his or her care demands the full attention and concern of the entire sports medicine team: the coach, the athletic trainer, the athlete, the parent, the physician and the physical therapist. The foremost concern of a team approach should be the prevention of injuries, appropriate treatment and rehabilitation. The Central Texas Sports Medicine Symposium will provide a forum for the sports medicine team to discuss problems and concepts relating to evaluating, treating and rehabilitating athletic injuries.
CREDIT
The Central Texas Sports Medicine Symposium has applied to the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for continuing education for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants in the amount of 1.16 CEU’s.
